Wengen is a better snowboarding destination than many might expect, having few surface lifts and a positive attitude to the sport. This has resulted in the best snowpark of the four in the Jungfrau Top ski region located above the Wengeralp slopes. It includes a good selection of the normal attractions - plus a bridge and an old VW beetle to jump over. The toughest slopes in the area are over at Mürren although there are plenty of off-piste opportunities closer to home and halfpipes at Grindelwald and Männlichen.
