Fernie's terrain park is located on the upper mountain on Falling Star, just off the Timber Chair. Its probably worth booking a Freeride Clinic for some extra tips on riding the terrain park and the Winter Sports School pro riders will not only improve your technique but help you discover the natural terrain of gullies, bumps, steeps and powder on offer. Groups are divided into six ability levels so theres a class for everyone, whether you've never boarded before, or can only turn one way which they've named "2nd step" or novices who are able to turn both ways (thats on easy terrain). Intermediates should be able to link turns confidently and the Advanced who have to be wicked! Its an easy ride on the Deer Chair then off to the left to reach the terrain park or which has been named the Jungle.
