 Situated in the charming village of Les Tines, some 4kms from Chamonix itself, the Excelsior is a delightful, informal hotel and full of character (a 3 "chimneys" Logis de France). Expect a very warm welcome from the friendly Cheilan family. The hotel has now been completely renovated and offers excellent value. There is a free hotel minibus in the morning to and from Chamonix, whilst the train and local ski bus to all the ski areas stop about 100m from the hotel. The standard of cuisine is exceptional. Highly recommended.36.The beautifully decorated twin or double bedrooms have bath or shower, wc, hairdryer, phone & sat. TV. All rooms can take a third bed & balconies are available on request.
