Neustift Ski Holidays - Wonderful Glacier Skiing

The ski holiday destination of Neustift is the most visited and most popular town in the Stubai valley. This glaciated skiing area is home to the five glaciers of Daunferner, Eisjochferner, Fernauferner, Gaiskarferner and Windachferner, these provide some of the best year-round skiing available. The skiing area is accessed by two gondolas from Mutterbergalm which ascend to Fernau at 2,300 metres. From Fernau you have a choice of gondolas heading to either Eisgrat at 2,900 metres or to Gamsgarten at 2,600 metres. Once at this level there are still plenty of lifts available to ensure your easy access to all the runs on the glaciers; there are three six-seater, one four-seater and three two-seater chairlifts as well as nine drag lifts.

Most runs on the glaciers are graded blue and red so are suitable for families and mixed-ability groups and have been prepared to an award winning standard. There are also several new black runs available and a lot of off-piste action on routes such as 'Fast Corner', 'Steep Glacier Tongue' and 'The Wall'. This area is also home to Austria's longest run - The 10 km Wilde Grub'n run leading from the summit at 3,150 metres down to 1,750 metres. There are snow making facilities in lower areas so that skiing can be guaranteed all the way to the bottom even late into the season.

All areas are accessible on the Stubai-Superski-Ticket which also gives you free reign over the Schlick 2000 resort in neighbouring Fulmpes and the two local indoor swimming areas.
