Leysin is a stunning resort set high in the Swiss Alps. Leysin is home to 60 km of skiing and is also connected with several other major resorts in the weekly Alpes Vaudoises Pass. Leysin has a 1,000 metre vertical and because of the high altitude of the resort itself, it is home to very snow-sure sunny south-facing slopes. There is also the further benefit of being closely linked to Diblerets glacier which only 30 minutes drive away (included on the pass).

Leysin itself has a great choice of runs for all levels of ability. Beginners have a choice of 20 runs and a dedicated nursery area for beginners to get the basics down at resort level and another at the top. The upper two-thirds of the mountain is tree-free and hoe to fast-cruising reds and blues that are perfect for intermediate skiers. There are also three black runs in the resort, the favourite is the top two-thirds of a full 1,000 metre vertical descent that runs beneath the Berneuse gondola. There is also a great black run that runs around the snowpark.

The ski school in Leysin is varied in it's curriculum and offers heli-skiing and guides for any off-piste touring that you may desire. There area also 39 km of cross-country trails on offer in the local area to keep even the most avid of cross-country fan happy in these beautiful surrounds.
