Facilities in Lenzerheide Valbella

Lenzerheide offers a good choice of activities beyond ski and board. Popular on-snow options include winter rambling, curling (traditional or Bavarian styles), skating and sledding. Winter rambling is poopular around the Heidsee Lake and to ther village of Lantsch/Lenz with its Marienkirche church and beautiful graveyard. There are weekly concerts, sunrise and night time trips and events. Indoors the sports centre has a swimming pool, ice rink, gyn, sauna, solarium, whirlpool and Turlkish bath. There is also the KaP cinema and touring theatre groups. The local museum, located in the village of Zorten, shows the development of the winter and summer resort of Lenzerheide-Valbella from its origin as a dairy farming region. On display, visitors will see collections of farm and household goods used through the years and an exhibition pertaining to the Barons of Vaz as well as the works of art created by world famous sculptor builder, Ferdinand Parpan. At the Meat Drying Plant at Parpan its possible to see the process used to make "Buendnerfleisch", a local delicacy. In nearb y Chuirwalden there's a year round Adv enture Park.
