Eating out in Whistler

Whistler now has nearly 100 restaurants and eateries offering a vast array of eating out options ranging from traditional North American meals to Thai or Sushi. In recent seasons the resort has committed more to mountain restaurants, including an 9 million Canadian dollar investment in the Roundhouse Lodge at the top of the Whistler Village Gondola. It offers a great choice of cuisine ranging from Asian to Italian and huge sundecks. New this winter a cosy restaurant called Chic Pea located at the top of the new Garbanzo quad chair. With so much choice and so few turkeys it's difficult to be selective, but consistently popular options include the Rim Rock Cafe, Val d'Isère and the Bearfoot Bistro. The Mongolie Grill is known for its fresh, fun and healthy food whilst the Wildflower believes its breakfast buffet is the best in town. The Monk's Grill steakhouse was established in 1990 and serves fresh seafood daily, along with prime rib or charboiled steaks. It has outdoor patios and great views.
