Eating out in Wengen

Most restaurants are in the hotels, and most have traditional Swiss stubls, some with additional restaurants also. For local cuisine try the Eiger hotel whilst Chez Meyer in the Regina is Michelin listed, or for Italian there's pizzeria at Sinas. The Schweizerheim houses one of the restaurants that organises occasional folklore evenings and fondue parties, the four star hotels including the Wengenerhof, the Beausite and the Sunstar all have reputations for high quality dining.

Trains run up and down the mountain until nearly midnight so it is possible to consider going for a meal down at Lauterbrunnen or even Interlaken. Alternately go up the mountain to the Wengeneralp restaurant (you can rent a toboggan for the return run if you miss the last train!).
