Eating out in Valmorel

Valmorel's dozen or so restaurants serve the normal French ski resort mix of Savoyard or Italian fayre. Fondue parties are the order of the day at the best priced establishments like the Grange and Perce Neige, which also seves pizza. Jimbololo serves Mexican. Most of the restaurants, as with the bars and shops, are conveniently located on the pedestrianised main street of Bourg, all within an easy short stroll of one another.

One of Valmorel's most popular excursions involves a snowshoe walk up to a mountain restaurant for a Savoyard meal followed by a return by lamplight.
