Eating out in Stowe

With about 60 eateries to choose from, Stowe has one of the best ranges of dining of any ski resort anywhere. You can find anything to suit any budget from Olde Englishe fayre through modern American in all its many variations to international cuisine from France, China and naturally enough, given Stowe's skiing roots, Austria. You can get great Italian food at Foxfire, or Mexican at Miguels. Whiskers is a firm favourite with the locals. On the mountain the Cliff House at the top of the gondola is especially famous for its spectacular views as well as its fine dining. 'The Fireside Tavern' at the base of the Toll House Lift is popular for leisurely dinners with some après ski fun thrown in.
