Eating out in Breckenridge

With more than 80 restaurants to choose from in Breckenridge you don't just ask for an Asian restaurant you ask for Chinese, Indian, Japanese or Thai. Then you don't just ask for Chinese you ask for Hunan Chinese, Mandarin Chinese or Szechwan Chinese. If you prefer European there's Bavarian, French and a choice of Northern or Southern Italian. Other options are Native American, Cajun, Southwestern American or from south of the border - Mexican. With the vast choice it's difficult to select recommendations. However for fine dining in a former Victorian home (and bordello...) , The Hearthstone is a good choice - try the prime rib. Salt Creek Restaurant and Saloon serves traditional American cuisine and if you like fish then Whale's Tail might be worthy of your patronage. For spicy pasta at quite low prices the intriguingly named Rasta Pasta has to be on the list. A walk along Main Street should provide much more inspiration if required. Sleigh ride dinners are a popular evening excursion through the woods, with dinner cooked on a camp stove and live entertainment provided.
