Alpbach capitalises on its two major assets in providing a wonderful dining experience - it's local ingredients and the fact that those Tyrolean specialities taste twice as good when partaken in those lovely old rooms with their hospitable atmosphere of centuries past. There are about a dozen restaurants, almost all hotel based and almost all serving traditional Austrian and Tyrolean Fayre. The restaurants in the hotels Böglerhof and Post are amongst the highly regarded. Fondue evenings with harp music accompaniment are also organised weekly. Also, the rustical Zinmalm or the Hotel Wiedersbergenbahn is well known for its Tyrolean cuisine.
