Après ski in Mammoth Mountain

Mammoth's après ski is often lively, especially at weekends, and the atmosphere is always informal. At least one live band is playing at one of the resort's venues every night. As the base village grows so do the facilities for the nigh on a million annual visitors. Some of the more lively options include Whiskey Creek, which often has live acts, and Slocums which is apparently most popular with Mammoth's locals. Karaoke fans will enjoy the scene at Shoguns and Grumpys Saloon opens at 7am every day and stays open 'until the fun runs out'. Angel's is famous for its cocktails and range of imported beers. If you don't fancy starting your après relaxation until late, skiing and boarding continues under the floodlights until 9 at weekends, and many other activities are available in the evenings.
